February 20th, 2009 will be the day The Sims 3 and a special The Sims 3 Collectors edition will be released!
You will be able to purchase The Sims 3 in stores, online and digital download.
The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition will include:
- The Sims 3
- Plumbob USB Drive
- In-game Italian-style sports car
- Tips and hints guide
- Plumbob Stickers
Those who pre-order the collectors edition with certain retailers will also recieve an additional in-game sports car and a collectable poster of the new neighbourhood.
“I’m excited to get the next-generation flagship PC game from The Sims Label, The Sims 3, into player’s hands worldwide on February 20,” said Rod Humble, Head of The Sims Studio. “The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition, launching on the same day, will offer a very special Sims experience to our loyal players.”

TheSims3.com has recieved a brand spanking new look, along with this EA have released a couple of new screenshots and a new VIP mail.

Sorry for the recent inactivity, I will be correcting this in the next couple of week. While there have been quite a few fansite articles outside of the TSR article there is not a lot of new information. I will be updating the Road to The Sims 3 series.
