A bit late on this one, The Sims Resource went to a fansite preview of The Sims 3 last week and has posted a review of what they saw. This includes a lot of new information.
“6) Adult now considered more ‘middle age’ and includes wrinkles.
7) The Town Centre plays a large part in gameplay and building socials.
The town is made of ‘functional, plopable public buildings’ as well as your own made homes and services.
9) Some old service NPC’s remain and are joined by some new ones.”

A little nice tidbit that i missed yesterday was that we will be able to download The Sims 3 digitally next year when it comes out. Quite a nice touch.
“They are working on The Sims 3, and you can download it digitally in 2009.”

Hot on the heels on the first trailer being released, 5 new screenshots and 7 new create-a-sim screens have been released on TheSims3.com.

Well E3 has started and the vat of information has been opened. Most exciting for us is that a trailer for The Sims 3 has been released.

In an interview with studio head Rod Humble and design director Matt Brown speak to 1Up about the up comng changed in The Sims 3. This article expands on the information we already have and includes a description of the new “Dreams and Promises” system among other systems.
“…we have a system in Sims 3 called Dreams and Promises,” says Brown, “which are a lot more nurturing — and a lot more contextual. Your Sim might walk past a cute Sim on the street and think, ‘I’d like to get to know her better.’ And you can Promise that you’re going to make that happen. You can basically ’sign up’ for that.”…”

I would like to apologize for the lack of updates – unfortunately at the moment, there is simply nothing to tell you about The Sims 3 that we do not already know.
However I would like to inform you of a big project that I’m working on that will surface in the next couple of months!
